History
Mid Valley Nut Company is a family owned
walnut processing business established by John Casazza
and his father-in-law Art Schrage in 1970. After three
decades of quality farming and processing, the business
has grown into a world wide leader in the nut industry.
Currently, the business is owned by John
and Suzanne Casazza along with son Billy Casazza and daughters,
Mary Valdez and Angela Casazza.
Located in the heart of the California central
valley, Mid Valley Nut Company acts as a grower, processor
and shipper of walnuts. |

The company includes a modern 150,000 square
foot refrigeration area, warehouse facility, processing
area and a sterilization chamber.
The plant is equipped to pack cello packages,
vacuum packs, 10, 25 and 30 lbs. cases or 25 lb. kilo and
50 lb. sacks under Mid Valley or customers’ own label.

The Casazza family knows the value of a complete
operation large enough to meet your needs yet small enough
to provide personalized service. Only through this special
family operation at Mid Valley Nut Company do the highest
quality walnuts meet the marketplace. |
